We've been changing the established format around quite a bit lately, so to clarify, here's a summary of what events we hold and when. Please note that we've also lowered our entry fees on several play formats!
Monthly Schedule of Events:
$5.00 entry fee; almost all sets of Magic: The Gathering cards are permitted, with a few exceptions (see TNM article below)
$5.00 entry fee; standard FNM, with foil cards and packs as prizes!
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Duel Days
WEEKLY OPEN GAMING FOR ALL
Be here Saturdays at 2 p.m. for our new unofficial Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Days! There are no entrance fees, so you can just hang out and play with our group, trade cards, duel, or talk shop! Gentlemen's and Gentlewomen's Rules apply, meaning that because there are no banned cards or combos, opponents must agree on what cards and strategies are legal before each game. Have fun in our casual, friendly gaming environment!

The Swiss-Style Pairing System This system, often used in chess tournaments, offers many advantages over single-elimination. Also known as the Swiss Draw, this tournament style allows all participants to play in every round, pairing each round's players based on their current records and standings. To determine who plays against whom, players with the best match records are matched against each other, and then the next highest records, etc. A round consists of a best-of-three series of matches, which are worth the following points during Swiss rounds:
match won = 3 points
match drawn = 1 point
match lost = 0 points
